Rockville, Ind. (CNS) - James Raymond Kerr, 78, of 414 N Jefferson, died at 10 a.m. Thurday at the Castle-Shannon Nursing Home in Rockville. He was born March 6, 1895, in Parke County, the son of George and Ola Gates Kerr. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include the wife, Helen; a son, Frank of Rockville; three daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Chase and Mrs. Levada Johns, both of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Carolyn Potts of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Barnes Mortuary in Rockville. The Rev. Ralph Austin will officiate and burial will be in the Clear Run Cemetery at Bridgeton. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
